orry!
dtt: Hi Nice to meet you ! How are you!
Me: fine thank you! Nice to meet you again!!!!!!!!(特意把 again说得很大的声音,
Dtt: O?! you mean I talked to you before?
Me: Yes! You refused me on May 16th! Here is the card please
Dtt: Ok, let me check it, (看电脑), O! It’s ture, We have talked! So I will t
ransfer you to another man, otherwise I can not give you an objective evaluati
on! So which window do you like?
Me: (心中狂喜,早就瞄准了放水的美男),I’d like to choose No. 8
Dtt: (怪怪的笑了笑),why? Do you like eight?
Me: Yes! I think eight is a lucky number! Hahaha
Dtt: hahaha, no problem, go to Window eight please
He: So you are now working in XXX? And you will study social work?
Me: yes
He: It seems you have a great change!
Me: it seems a great change because I am now a secretary in the company. But a
ctually it is part of my plan, I have intended to work for one or two years be
fore studying abroad, I think it will make me learn more about this society. B
esides, My Company is very famous for its commonwealth activity so I do a lot
of social activities in the company.
He: you major is really fresh in China, does China has any social worker?
Me: the government has begun to issue social worker ID in Shang hai and Guang
zhou, and China has the largest volunteers to be organized, so social work wil
l has bright future in China.
He: What kinds of social work have you attend?
Me: I organized my classmates to visit nursing home every year, and I have bee
n the volunteer of XXX international conference. About 1000 delegates from 183
countries attend that conference, I am responsible for safe and security work
and give necessary helps to the delegates. I take come pictures here!
He: what’s that? Is it the offer from Alabama?
Me: O, No! It’s a letter my advisor wrote to you, could you please have a loo
He: What’s you plan after graduation?
Me: I want to come back to China and find a high position in some important so
cial work institutes, I what to find ways to develop and improve the type of s
ervice available to china’s old people. You know china has 200 million elders
….
He: what’s elder? How can they be considered as old?
Me: Over 60 years!
He: O! So you are interested in old people?
Me: I am not INTERESTED in them, but I really want to help them, because they
are vulnerable people!
He: There are also many old people in USA!
Me: That’s true! But social work has been developed to a very mature level in
US, so China’s old people need my help most! Besides, I will easily become a
n expert and get a high position in China because few people can do that. But
in USA, there are many experts, I could not find a job, if you do think I can,
and if I really struggled to find a job, I can only be a very common social w
orker. So I must come back.
He: But how can you make a living in China at that time?
Me: Pardon?
He: I mean you could not work in your former company any more? What kind of jo
b you can find? Have you talked with anyone?
Me: Yes! I will definitely not work in my current company, I will find a posit
ion in XXXX, I have talked with the director of its international department,
I want to promote the communication between China and western countries!
He: Yes! Social work! University of Alabama! Your plan sounds reasonable, so I
will give you visa! Please take this and go to window 10, please wait for som
e time for your visa! Good luck in University of Alabama!
Thank you very much!
2. Dtt 最喜欢问的问题: your G&T score first please! / Have you applied an
y Chinese schools?/ why not?/what’s your plan after graduation?/I am sorry I
can not give you visa today!……
