Is the best way to teach is to praise positive actions and ignore negative ones in the fields of family or school education and employment? This issue is quite a complex one. I agree that to praise positive actions is an effective means for a parent, educator or employer to teach. On the other hand, as far as I am concerned, to ponit out the negative ones is also indispensable in teaching.

Adimittedly, the praise of active actions from a child's parent or an employee's boss help the receiver to form his or her confidence in the way to success, which should be the goal of education. There is a common situation of a novice who has just passed the interview and come into a deparment to begin his career. It is highly possible for him to feel anxious and diffident in the begining. It is the approbation from his boss that encourage him and help him grow his confidence. As a result, the employee will act more firmly and confidently in the future. The praise also works with respect to family education. A child without a clear motivation to improve himself is likely to do the things that will give him short-term  psychological  satisfaction. The approbation from his teacher or parents plays an essential role in the formation of the satisfaction, which will encourge the child to continue learing.

However, every sword has two edges. Too much praise will keep a child, student, or employee from continueing developing himself. There are two reasons for the claim. First, a person with too much praise may think that what he does is always right, which results in his reluctance to look for his shortcomings in his study or career. Second, arbitrary decisitions may come into being with vainglory from too much praise. In these cases, a parent, teacher or employer should point out the person's complacent actions, which are caused by too much praise and can be consider as one kind of negative actions, and hlep him to form a correct realization of himself.

Pointing out the negative acitons is necessary in the cases mentioned above. Moreover, it is indispenssable with respect to actions related to basic and significant morality and values. Since morality and values are essential for children to develop a sound mind and for employees to continue a career with fairness and justice. Nobody can deny that it is necessary for a parent or a teacher to point out and correct a child's abuse to a small animal in that the child is likely to grow to a brutal person, or even extremely a serial killer in the future
though the intention of such abuse in his childhood was just for fun. And it is harmful and irresponsible for an employer to ignore his emploee's negative actions with respect to a career's moralty and fairness, such as an officer's bribery and nepotism. Because such actions may lead to the infamy of the employee or even the whole working group. On the other hand, circumbendibus should be uesd to avoid the loss of the educatee's self-esteem while a educator tries to correct these negative or even dangerous actions.

To sum up, to praise active actions is of importance in education whether as a teacher, parent and employer. Nevertheless, too much praise is detrimental to a receiver's development. And in the cases related to morality and values, it is necessary to point out negative actions instead of ignoring them. In the final analyse, educators should strive for a balance of praising active actions and dealing with negative ones to help the educatee wiht a bright future.
