求拍砖!ISSUE: Interesting subjects vs. job-promising courses

College students should be encouraged to pursue subjectsthat interest them rather than the courses that seem most likely to lead tojobs.

The statement asserts that educators shouldencourage students to enroll subjects which mostly interest them rather thanpursue courses indicating better job opportunities. I agree with it insofar asthat pursuing subjects according to students’ interests should be encouraged, however, courses leading to more job opportunities are not bad choices becausethat the two properties of education procedures are not mutually exclusive butshould be combined naturally and efficiently. As far as I am concerned, individual’s inner motivation of learning at the same time indicates the futuredirection of jobs which suits him or her best. In return, educators should letstudents find what they want to study and give them directions of how toprepare themselves as a professional expert in that field. To start with, if college supervisors got the wrong perception of that allstudents have got enough cognitive abilities of which field their interestsmostly leading to, they will quite likely find that students appear to bepuzzled for they actually haven’t found what the college subjects contain andmean. For my own empirical experience, I find myself did relatively well inPhysics and Biology during high school period so when I was electing collegemajors I actually considered Electronics or Life Science both interest me. Inanother word, I didn’t exactly know which detailed subject suits my interests. However,I prefer the college give me some advice about which subjects lead to more jobopportunities. Ultimately, I chose Electronics as my major, and it’s a betterchoice because it combines my interests and good job perspective.
In addition, whether a subject in college would provide the students jobopportunities depends on if the student has got well prepared to take the jobrather than if the subject promise more worker request or higher salary. Thus, students’ interest are to some extent indicate a better job perspective andthat’s why I recommend that college shouldn’t separate subjects into two groupsas one represents students’ interests and one represents more jobopportunities.
Moreover, actuality of college education conditions doesn’t allow wepromise every student to attend their dreamy subject which means usually themost committed and potential successful students can choose subjects bythemselves. There always are some students failed in getting the opportunity toenroll the aimed subject. However, that doesn’t means those students who wereallocated to some other subject as the supervisors’ decisions will get worsefuture in and after college, because supervisors should take the student’stalent and potentiality and the job perspectives in consideration. What’s more, the student maybe will find his new interests in that subject.
In sum, …….
