第一次写issue，求各位不啬指教~感激不尽！Claim: Imagination is a more valuable asset than experience.
Reason: People who lack experience are free to imagine what is possible without the constraints of established habits and attitudes.
Writea response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim and the reason on which that claim is based.
The speaker argues that compared with experience, imagination set people free from the constraints of the stereotype, which is more essential. I broadly agree with this assertion, however, the speaker careless extends it to all the situations where sometimes are not true.
Firstly, let's examine the gods from different religions. The characteristics of gods in Buddhism look like the people in east, where this religion originated. However, Christian established in Europe has totally different gods. They look like the Europe people. Is this an accidental case? The anthropologists told us that those imagined gods were created based on the people's experience, which directly came from their surrounding situation. Therefore, people in the west did not possible imagine a god with complexion like the orient people, because they have never contact with that kind of people in the past therefore without any cognition of them. Therefore, experience is the base of our imagination.
In retrospect, we may find that most of the important discoveries and inventions are based on the experience. Inspired by the frog, we can create breast stroke, which simulate the action of frog in the water. Amazed by the camouflage of lizard, human invent camouflage clothing which can hide in the juggle. We observe, and get to know the theory, then apply the knowledge into creation. Without the experience from those things, it is hard to imagine human can make thing from nothing.
However, to attack the argument above, some may point out that in scientific research, experience hinders us from making breakthrough by constricting our imagination. People before Brother Wright failed to invent airplane because they learned from the bird then habitually copied the features of it. They perceived that binding two big wings behind their back like the bird can make them fly. However, Brother Brighter threw away the past ossified ideas and used their imagination. Finally, they successfully became the precursor in the human history of making plane.
Another aspect the speaker may ignore is that in some field, imagination plays more important role, however, others may not. An experienced detective can speculate the height and weight of a killer respectively through the size and depth of a footprint on the ground. In solving a case, capabilities like this are essential, which detective can acquire through his accumulated experiences. However, in scientific research field, some theories are so abstract and innovative without any previous experience to follow and that cannot be observed. Einstein came up with the General Theory of Relativity in his mind which just based on imagination and proper conjecture. Without imagination, he can never breakthrough the theory developed by Newton which based on experience and observation. Therefore, the importance of imagination and experience depends on the certain situation.
To sum up, overemphasizing imagination or experience hinders us from gaining greater achievement. Therefore, we should rationally combine the experience and imagination together and take advantages of both of them. In this way, we can gain the experience to help us imagine, while at the same time, set our mind free to imagine.
