求助：会计学生转统计，有戏么？

求助：我现在米国读会计master，想转统计，可行么？
大学统计方面学过：微积分两学期、线代、概率与数理统计、C语言、管理信息系统、统计学。
GRE：317； Toefl：105.
请问可以转么？如果转的话，可以申哪些呢？
您的意见会让我非常感激，谢谢！

Take more stat/maths courses if you have time.
And, MIS is not considered stat courses.

You have the minimum requirement of a stat MA program but nothing more than that. If your profile remains the same, focus on applied-oriented and lower-ranked ones. (I don't apply to these so can't mention specific schools).

恩作为一个本科是Stat和Math的学生，我的建议是你要补上不少的课，才有可能申请到比较有含金量的Stat的program。。现在Stat的program太多了，很多唬唬外行人还行，像我们学这个，一看课程就知道打着master的旗号教着本科的知识。。实话说，出来也干不出什么活来。。自然工作也不会好找啥的。。要补上的课程至少要多一个学期的calculus，能再上点儿Analysis(real analysis)是最好的。。你的mathematical statistics上了几个学期的？统共得要两个学期的。。还应该有experiement design & survey design的两门课，Ｒ和ＳＡＳ都至少要有一门课。。再就是一些研究的方向，比如multivariable analysis, time series analysis..etc

我非常愿意补课，只要能学到东西。我本科学的是商科方面的，研究生再学就没什么意思了，所以想转以弥补自己的不足，如果都学过了，就没啥意思了。另外，我对数学蛮向往的。
我只想通过统计学些数学知识，学完再继续申金工。

I was hesitating because my current major, accounting, is the best program in my university, but I am really fond of Statistics. So I am not so much concerned about the ranking, if only I can learn some statistical knowledge. That is what I need.

因为stat本来就是热门专业。。本专业的自己都挤破头何况你是外专业的。。除非你有很强的背景吧。。

Thats true. Actually, I am not concerned about the ranking; I merely want to learn it, improving my mathematical background.

这样哈～～其实统计和数学差得也挺远的。。大实话的说。。如果你想要申很好的金工。。我身边就有去不错学校的。。啥Ｓｔａｎｆｏｒｄ的金工啊之类的。。。都得是货真价实的数学毕业的。。反正统计申请金工。。绝对没有数学的吃香。。如果你的终极目标是金工的话。。你不如就申请一个applied math的ｍａｓｔｅｒ。。选课的时候选难度大一点儿的。。需要功底扎实一些的课程～～

额，但是申请applied math肯定更难，我数学水平跟那些纯数学出身的比起来就是渣儿。。。纠结！
