Whether the innovations of modern technologies – video, computers, and the Internet – distract students from real learning is contingent on the levels of students that we are discussing about. While it comes to the areas of primary and secondary, the innovation of the modern teaching devices might distract students to learn. While the discussion is related to the university or college students, the above modern tools would facilitate students to learn.

Primary students are always feeling exciting to the videos’ entertainment functions, rather than feel exciting to the knowledge presented by the program.

Secondary students also fail to take notice of the major purpose of the modern teaching tools, rather than use these tools to learn the knowledge.

However, the modern teaching devices facilitate the university or college students to equip the knowledge presented by the professors.

Whether the innovations of modern technologies – video, computers, and the Internet – distract students from real learning is contingent on the levels of students that we are discussing about. While it comes to the areas of primary and secondary, the innovation of the modern teaching devices might distract students to learn the real learning. While the discussion is related to the university or college students, the above modern tools would facilitate students to learn.

Primary students are always feeling exciting to the modern teaching facilities’ functions, rather than feel exciting to the knowledge presented by these devices that are designed to facilitate the students to learn the real learning. The modern teaching devices are innovated to educate the primary students about the mores of modern societies, the rules of living in communities, and the responsibilities of being a primary student. However, almost all primary students are addicted to the entertainment functions of these devices because of the low self-discipline, rather than take notice of the true message presented by the modern teaching facilities. For example, after watching a video program in ICU - created by the Hong Kong government to educate the primary students about the mores of living in a modern society - students only barely remembered the features of each actor or the music presented on the video. The majority of student failed to figure out the true meaning of the video.

Secondary students also fail to take notice of the major purpose of the modern teaching tools, rather than use these tools to learn the true knowledge presented by the modern devices.

However, the modern teaching devices facilitate the university or college students to equip the knowledge presented by the professors.

Although innovations such as video, computers, and the Internet seem to offer schools improved methods for instructing students, these technologies all too often distract from real learning.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

With the rapid development of technology, people become more and more concerned about its potential detrimental effects. Some people claim, instead of assisting students to gain higher academic grade, that video, computers and the Internet distract students from real learning.Nevertheless, these media,in my view, have invaluable benefits to our studying process, besides, the majority of those students distracted owes much to their own ability of self-control.

Admittedly,in the modern internet period, various temptations reach into student’s lives suddenly without any warning.Only if we pay attention to people around us,we could definitely find out lots of them become addicted to online games, social media software and so on.These things account for huge amount of their time, and hence impose negative impacts on their studying. However, even if facing with same environment, response could vary from individual to individual.

It’s not surprising that most of students distracted by theses outside temptations is actually people who don’t possess some extents of self-control ability. It’s not fair if we blame these failures all to video, computers and Internet on the account of fact that they could also have considerable probability to be immerse in some other creational activities.Whether or not these innovations would distract students from effective learning actually has to be discussed in terms of specific individual. For instance, while countless people had been hit by apples fallen from tree, only Newton come up with the one of most outstanding achievement in human history—-Gravitation theory.Although lot of scientists encounterd the phenomenons caused by X-ray,only Rontgen observed it and dig into these “accidents” deeply. Moreover, these innovations offer us unprecedented way of studying, and infinite resource which we could never imagine before.

By using academic forum, our students could easily find out people who encounter same question as them, this could facilitate the communication between them even more efficiently than assistance from teachers, because these students may more likely have similar way of thinking, which promote mutual understanding. There are also lots of precious experience written by our predecessors which guide us perfectly as long as we pore over it with our effort. On the other hand, our traditional learning has always been stubbornly using books, however, the real learning is far more beyond that.Via these innovations, our student could be more easily access to news outside our school, which broaden our range of studying and enable up keep up with the society pace simultaneously.More and more essay require us to opine our own thoughts on heated topic contemporary, therefore, this will enhance our understanding of these social things undoubtedly.

Ultimately, concerning various individual response differently to these innovations, and indelible benefits it brings to us,it’s too arbitrary to make such a judgement that these innovations will prevent us from real learning. On the contrary,it can promote our way of studying and range of knowledge and hence foster us into more independent and intelligent future elites.
