NUS-SJTU PhD面试

17日邮件通知27日面试，因没注意到邮件，联系教务老师安排了下一次
（邮件需谨慎对待，但是有问题的话可以多和nus沟通。一般这种安排措辞都会比较严厉，说the interview timing will not be changed; If you do not attend the interview, note that we will no longer consider you for XXX之类云云，但是有问题都可以邮件沟通！！！！）

8日邮件通知13日面试，提前15min进入ZOOM准备，在等候室等待。
进入后共有三位老师，一位全程未说话应该是会议秘书

准备了15个问题就问了3个问题：
第一位老师self introduction
第二位老师research proposal
第一位老师career plan
客套性的问我有没有疑问，全程8min(邮件通知15-20min)，然后就结束了
（可能是由于是Joint PhD Program，面试比较轻松，所以仅供参考）


下面附上我在寄托上收集筛选的15个问题：

[*]- Introduce yourself, explain your background
[*]- Master's thesis research experience
[*]- Explain your master's project in more detail (Describe one of your past research experience).
[*]- Why apply for the joint program?
[*]- Explain your research interests (research direction)
[*]- Explain your brief/vague research proposal
[*]- Career plans
[*]- Have you been to Singapore (What do you know about Singapore)? about NUS ?

[*]- Have you contacted the professor? Which of Prof X's areas of research do you like and why? How to combine his research with yours?
[*]- The current research progress and the status of the papers
[*]- Your personal traits, commitments and hobbies.
[*]- Your strengths (Talk about the most frustrative experience during your past research work)

[*]- Your shortcomings (What do you think is your shortcomings during research)
[*]- The COVID-19 pandemic
[*]- Any questions?

还是要结合你的实际情况哈
一般这种是针对博一的学生发出的
每个学院的情况可能又不同
我们学院是我还在研三的时候（已经确定了继续读博），老师收到了交流办的邮件，然后就直接帮我拿下了，博士入学时走的就是联合培养的通道
我还看过其他的学院，直接是有官网公告，几位导师直接招想要联培的直博或普博生
