5月19号 沈阳 F1签证经验
背景介绍: chem,现在中科院读硕士,六月份毕业,全奖,第一次签证结果:check
签证过程: 前面的过程就不说了,主要说问的问题.
V: You are Mr. xxx.
M: You are right. Nice to meet you.
V: Nice to meet you, too. Here is your receipt.(给我签证费的第二联)
M: OK. Thank you.
V: Are you a master?
M: Yes, I am a master in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry.
V: What are you doing now?
M: I am now doing research in the field of synthetic chemistry. I have synthesized and characterized a series of vanadiu complexes. And these complexes can be catalysts for olefin polymerization.
V: OK. Good.Can you show me your GRE, TOEFL ,RESUME?
M: OK.(VO转身离去,我一猜就是拿蓝纸去了.)
V: How many universities have you applied?
M: I have applied 10 universities.
V: That's a lot.(指着GRE的成绩单上的学校说,我那上面总共有7个学校)
Why do you finally choose this university?
M:The most important reason is that the research undertaken in that university matches my interest well. There are at least three professors who are focusing their reasearch in the field of synthetic chemistry.
V: Who are they? Can you tell me their names?
M: professor David, Professor sieburth(只想起来两个,汗.幸好没有纠缠)
V: Do you have E-mail contact with the professor?
M: Yes. I have print the E-mail.

V: Who will pay you?
M: The university.
V: Do you have any publication? I did not see it on you resume.
M: It is on the other side of the paper.(发的文章在简历的背面) I have coauthered an article with other group members. Do you need the article? I have brought it with me.
V: No. Please tell me the other coauthers.
M: xx,xx,xx.
V: Your TOEFL score is high.
M: (smile)Thank you.
V: Your application looks fine. But I need to check you.(原话不是这样的,就不清了) .It needs three weeks.
M: Yes, I know.
V: I know you understand. Thank you ,Good bye.
M: Thank you.
面我的是4号窗口,传说中的glass boy.
问的很详细,估计有5min的样子,但问题都是在准备之中的.
说的时候我们可以适当慢一点,吐字清楚.这样也可以给自己缓解压力.
建议: 把常见的问题准备熟练,其实80%的问题都可以提前准备的.
感谢一同去签证的另外7个人.特别感谢三个女生砍放价,一个标间再加一张床,被他们砍到了132,东盛.
