北京-5月8日-1签-自费-密歇根大学M--done
面试过程虽然说近两年去美国的留学签证很容易，但是今天在开口与签证官说话的前一分钟还是不由得嘴巴发干跑去饮了口水。在签证大厅刚刚认识了几个小同学。两个返签的男孩子一个是密苏里的工科生，另一个是Virginia Tech的。呵呵，他应该问题不大，这日子口还这么给这学校面子不转学政府应该不会为难他呵呵。另一个女孩子是去哥大学公共关系什么的，人大新闻毕业的记者，。在人挤人的大厅内等得，热得无聊得根本想不起紧张了。只是偶尔在穿黑制服的“汉奸”们凶恶的呵斥中才略微清醒一些。其实“汉奸”们也还好啦，只不过大多数签证者心情都很脆弱，他们凶神恶煞的容易让大家更紧张嘛，一点都不体贴。
今天碰到的是中年金发大姐，面相很善，从开始就觉得想跟她多说会儿话。签证？肯定没问题。
事情的发生是这样的……
ME：Hello, Madam.
VO：Hello, how are you today?
ME：Pretty good, thanks
VO：So you are going to U Mich?
ME：Yea, I’ m going to study master degree on urban planning.
VO: Who is supporting your study?
ME: My parents will do.
VO: What do they do?
ME: My mom is an engineer for SinoChem for over like ten years, while my dad is an editor and in the part time he also does a lot of designing works. So their annual salary would be around … plus yearly bonus. So money is not problem for my study.
VO：Why did you choose U Mich?
ME：Well, you know it is a top school, and its concentration very much fits me in urban revitalization, downtown and historic city regeneration, which would be very useful when I come back to Beijing. And besides, Dr. Christopher Leinberger is also a world famous urban planning who shares same interest with me. That is another major reason for me to go there.
VO：What kind of job are you expecting to do after graduation?
ME：I will come back to Beijing and try to be an urban planner and make my contributions to my hometown Beijing. Because you know we see the decline and fall of many historic cities such as Beijing, and I wanna make a change in my generation.
VO：So how do you deal with the mix of population growth and the preservation of Hutongs.
ME：Yea haha right, that is a difficult one. That is exactly what I am gonna learn in the U Mich, and I am sure I will figure out. To my understanding, I think a better way out is to build up the satellite cities around Beijing, such as Tongzhou, Changping etc. to drive the population and business away from the core downtown.
VO：Okay, congratulations.
ME：Thanks and have a great day!
扭头下台阶，刚刚认识的几个签友等着大眼睛等着我的结果，我有力地点点头，大家都过了。
其实，今天真的有点儿水。我带的大包小包的东西，像财产证明，工资证明，工作证明，房产证，成绩单，录取信，都没有用上。但是，不要因为我准备的没有用到就以为没用，要做到有备无患。
