People often face problems and can not find solution themselves. Therefore, almost everyone need advice form other people. It is generally believed that old people’s advice is more valuable. The question is, “is that always true?” I think the answer is definitely no.

Admittedly, the advice from older people is filled with wisdom. It is because that those solutions are extracted from experience. As the old says goes, “if the old gods barks, he gives counsel.” Older people have more experience than our contemporaries. It is no doubts that listening to older people could help us gain our wit and do not have to fall into a pit.

However, sometimes older people advice is out of date. The advice which is useful in their time, not necessarily suit for our time. Let’s consider the following hypothetical situation: when you want to choose a dress to a party, whose advice you think will be helpful, your classmates or your parents? I think the answer is clear. There are generation gap between young people and old people whose thinking patterns and values are different. Therefore advice from old people can not help you solve problems effectively.

Furthermore, the advice from same age people will be easier to be accepted. Undoubtedly, no matter how good the advice is, if it can not be accepted, it has no value. Perhaps the advice from parents is much better than one from friends; however, people still use the latter one. It is because that people think their peers could think problems in their shoes. Moreover, parents’ advice probably is the one could solve problems but not the one they want to hear. For example, when students get low grades, the advice they want to hear is, “forget the sad thing and let’s go to have fun!” rather than “you should study harder.”

All in all, although the advice from elders is filled with wisdom, the one from peers is worth more. Peers could help you solve problem regarding from yours view and understand your feeling better.

All in all, although the advice from elders is filled with wisdom, the one from peers is worth more.
Peers could help you solve problem regarding from yours view and understand your feeling better.

Admittedly, the advice from older people is filled with wisdom. It is because that those solutions are extracted from experience. As the old says (saying) goes, “if the old gods barks, he gives counsel.” Older people have more experience than our contemporaries. It is no doubts (doubt) that listening to older people could help us gain our wit and do not have to fall into a pit.

Furthermore, the advice from(of) same age people will be easier to be accepted. Undoubtedly, no matter how good the advice is, if it can not be accepted, it has no value. Perhaps the advice from parents is much better than one from friends;(这里说父母的建议更好,感觉这个argument有点别扭) however, people still use the latter one. It is because that people think their peers could think problems in their shoes. Moreover, parents’ advice probably is the one could solve problems but not the one they want to hear. For example, when students get low grades, the advice they want to hear is, “forget the sad thing and let’s go to have fun!” rather than “you should study harder.”(这能说是同辈的更Valuable?)
All in all, although the advice from elders is filled with wisdom, the one from peers is worth more. Peers could help you solve problem regarding from yours(your) view(angle) and understand your feeling better.
