Dear Prospective Students,

I am the Graduate Program Director in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Georgia Southern University, one of the five State-supported research institutions in the state of Georgia.  We offer graduate assistantship  to most students admitted to the program, which includes a full tuition waiver and a stipend.  We have high quality faculty who are enthusiastic about supervising graduate students with a variety of projects in pure/applied mathematics and statistics, see the third link below.  Many of them have had joint publications before the students finishing their degree program. Even though we only offer a Master degree, most of our graduates went on to pursue Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences at the elite universities.

We require TOEFL and GRE (general test only).  Students with mathematics and engineering background are also welcome to apply. If you decide to apply for the program, you may do so online via
