Future never can be the copy or reflection of the past. It's silly to compare them with each other, even worse to forecast unpredicable future by history. Tactically speaking, we live for adventure in life, not for boring ordinary routine, as we hope, our world evolve all the time.
"We can never go through the same river ever." quoting from famous philosopher, pretty obvious, we know, the only thing that doesn't change is changing. Involving all we know, that takes in charge of human, environment and also incidents that consist of our crooking human history. That's why we can not simply summarize their relationship.
To begin with, I think mankind is the most flexible nature in world, in addition, no such two persons are completely the same, which is also the reason that our world become so colorful. Also we are not in common with our ancestors. That means we have different culture, manners, belief and so forth. How do you expect we can resemble them. It's weird that you bring your medieval noble manner into modern world, vice versa.
Following that, atmosphere around us accompanying with us transforms at the mean time. you live on breeding cow several hundred years ago, but now you live on computer on you job. Technology advanced by times, and our society that base on science and knowledge also altered beyond our ancestor minds. The only thing we are definitely sure is that someday our dreams will come true.
With time fleeting, incidents occur comprehending so many factors which makes it more complicated than ever we know. You can predict the accident on inadequate analysis, working on that to indicate the more unbelievable future.
Future is not under our control. However we can acquaintance with it by all means as we can.
