As the development of technologies, the relationship between social customs and technologies becomes a hot topic. As far as I concern, technologies play a significant role in the social customs and ethics.However, I disagree that it determine social customs and ethics.
First of all, the development of technologies change the people's life style. It is widely known that people work day time and sleep at night in the past. However, some people still work and some factories still produce at nighr today for the reason that Tesla invented the alternating current which can provide factories with power and light. In this way, the produce has been promoted. And the people's life style has been change due to the invention of alternating current.
However, not all customs and ethics can be changed by the technologies. As we all know, we can obtain much more information than the past we do result from the present of internet. Nevertheless, the best way for education is to study in the school and read books. It is only by reading books that can the profound knowledge be obtained,through the information on computer is vivid and visual.
Last not the least, the social customs and ethics have an important effect on the development of technologies. The dream of flying contribute to the desinge of airplane. And some scientists devote to reseach because of no only their interest but also the spirt to improve the life of human.It is clear that the development of human derive from the innovation of the science which is the fruits of scientists. Without the spirt of improve the life of human , there will be less innovation.
In sum, the relationship between techonolgies and social customs and ethics is a complex issue. There is no the relationship that one determines the other.Both of them have significant effect on the other.
