There is no denying the fact that people have to suffer from ample hardships during their lives time. Nevertheless, what is the attitude that we treat these hardships? Have we ever thought about that most difficult experiences in our lives can turn into some precious treasures and valuable lessons for our future? Formidable though sometimes life is, it is the arduousness that provides experiences for us to perfect ourselves and inspires us to be more pessimistic when faced with hardships.
Among the functions of hard experiences is that they can to a large extent, enhance people's personalities, such as perseverance and confidence. Take my personal experience as an illustration. When I first came to university, I felt very frustrated at my English learning, especially for the listening. It seemingly that it was impossible for me to improve my listening skills no matter how much effort I put on it. Gradually, I even started to doubt myself that whether I had the competence to learn English well. Nonetheless, in contrary to abandon myself, I selected to work more assiduously on my listening practices. I persevered on practicing listening one hour per day. After went through a long time practices, I eventually overcame the problems in my listening. Thereafter, I became confident on my English learning and I became more passionate to acquire knowledge as well. Therefore, cannot we say that most experiences in our lives that seemed difficult at the time can turn into valuable lessons for our future?
Another well-known benefit of hard experiences is that they enable people to treasure their lives more precious. People invariably won't regard their current lives as something priceless unless they attain that difficultly, for instance, people who have experienced the seism that took place in WenChuan, China 2008 may treat their lives more valuable than those who didn't. After go through failures, people will regard successes more valuable.
Manifestly, all the analysis warrants a sounding consequence that most difficult experiences in our lives can turn into valuable lessons in our future. Thus, don't be too frustrated when face up to hardships. These hardships will eventually turn into some indispensible experiences for us on the way to success. Just as Goldsmith once said" Our greatest glory consists not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."
