the history
We began our musical "career" in the early 80's. Through different formations and projects we eventually realized that there was no suitable label around that was interested in our kind of work and music. Thus, in 1987, we established Cold Meat Industry. We had a number of friends we knew were making great music, and began to release their material. Quite soon we discovered a lot of other formations along with new aspirants good enough to release.
the concept
To find new interesting Scandinavian groups has more and more become what people expect from us and as our major challenge it is the main reason why we are still developing this label. Working with scandinavian groups only has made it easier to communicate; to fulfill ideas and visions as well as to assist with other facilities like studios, sleeves, promotion etc.
the future
An unwritten chapter. Our hope is to continue to expand our work. To find new interesting groups, to make new friends and to keep on developing our label in any direction we may find interesting and challenging.

Old tales most often derive from popular tradition, sometimes even seeming to force moral
prejudice over poor uneducated citizens. The concept of the three piggies and the wolf can maybe
be seen as the victory of goodness and how knowledge and cunning overcomes sheer brutality.
However, disguises and cheats are the melody of today. Who is really the pig and who the wolf?
Presenting a wide spectra in sound and form, Nod here corrodes every aspect of spastic intensity.
Up for grabs are a schizoid, strange but well composed journey through bleak bitterness, but also
a cold meeting with frantic technical limitpushing power ready to split your head. Spoken as well
as screamed vocals are delightfully present, both male and female, making it as dramatic as

简介: GOTHICA是意大利的一支黑暗双人组合,由ROBERTO DEL VECCHIO（键盘，主唱，贝司及打乐器）与ALESSANDRA SANTOVITO（主唱，键盘，打击乐器）于95年初正式成立,当然他们进行创作的时候，常常邀请其他的艺术家来参与如Flavia Prosperi (flute), Laura Vinciguerra (violin), Claudio Di Bucchianico (oboe), Carmine Giangiacomo (guitar), Marco Bacceli (drums). 几乎所有的歌词都由ALESSANDRA创作，那些古老神话中的故事在她的演绎下别有一番风韵.
95年9月,GOTHICA自己录制并地下发行了自己首张同名demo，在乐迷杂志与一些当地媒体的推荐下，很快便传遍了意大利全国，甚至连其他国家的乐迷夜幕名来购买。96年11月，乐队的新歌"nothingness" 被dawn of sadness出品的系列合辑"scream form italy vil.3"所收录.
98年6月,GOTHICA再次自己录制了第二张demo"PROSERPINA"这张8首歌的作品再次得到乐迷的肯定，英国的music &elsewhere法国的adipocere records,希腊的christ forum,波兰的etemal deformity,苏格兰的golden lake records纷纷与乐队签下了发行合同.
2000年4月意大利神秘厂牌energeia在其发行的系列和及intimations of immortality vol.5中收录了乐队的the land under the waves"(demo vision)

这张在CRUEL MOON发表的专辑,带有浓厚的南欧黑暗音乐色彩.典雅,华丽(相对于欧洲其他地区的黑暗民谣而言) 带有许多天主教音乐元素.沉郁的键盘,圣洁的管风琴,学院派女高音,低沉浑厚的男声,一些手鼓敲击混合在一起.

很好听的吟唱,但总体感觉night throught中得歌曲有些平,特色不明显.the land under the waves不错.
