首先报一下专业：M.Phil in Industrial Engineering at HKUST今天教授发邮件问我电话，我发回去了，结果刚过一分钟就打过来了。

Me：Shall we use English or Chinese?
Prof: Either is fine with me. I saw that you have taken a lot of mathematical courses, your mathematical background is good.
Me: Thanks. Some of them are required by my department, I also chose some others.
Prof: What do you want to do when you come here?
Me: In fact, I am not very familiar with industrial engineering. You see, my undergraduate major is computer science. But I want to do something related to operations research, and something with applications in engineering or industries.
Prof: Are you interested in supply chain?
Me: Yes, but yet I am not familiar with it. It seems cool to me.
然后展开中文对话，问我会不会game theory，我说做过mechanism design, 他说哦知道了。然后说他们组正在做一个航海的项目，让我以后做。现在多读读背景知识。我叫他发几篇paper给我，他说ok。然后问我递交申请没有，我说交了，然后就结束了。
