2010.10.09在美国Stony Brook University交换期间考的chem－sub，手上没有中文教材，也没怎么复习就直接考了，结果杯具的810（79%）。当时很犹豫到底不要求sub的那些学校要不要送分，问了美国的一个教授，我说我同学基本都90%以上，她说Those Chinese students are very smart，but 79% is a very good score。。。。后来果断所有学校都送了。。。。面试石溪的时候，我也提到了sub不好，面试官说79%is good，而指出我唯一不足的其实是托福口语（speaking18）。。。。。所以在此我想告诉那些sub没到80%的同志们，不要悲观，那些老美上80%的寥寥无几，如果自己希望送分的话就送吧！Bless～作者: 睡到自然醒 时间: 2011-1-8 16:10:42

Is my GRE subject score enough for top 50 schools in US???
Hi everyone! I just called ETS and learned my score of GRE subject test in biochem, cell and molecular biology.
score: 610
percentile: 78
Do you think this score is good or bad? I applying for PhD to top 50 grad schools in biological sciences in US ranked by USNEWS. Any help will be appreciated! thanks a lot!
I think you got a good score even though it's not stellar. Most people here at CC forum agree that you should submit subject GRE scores only to universities/graduate programs which require it as mandatory. In case you're coming from lesser known universities, it's better to submit your scores to all programs you are applying for.
