黄皮书P111页，第2题Because many of the minerals found on the ocean floor are still _____ on land, where mining is relatively inexpensive, mining the ocean floor has yet to become a _____ enterprise.
(A) scarce...common
(B) accessible...marginal
(C) unidentified...subsidized
(D) conserved...public
(E) plentiful...profitable
答案是E。既然on land有丰富的minerals，而且在land上开采相对便宜，为啥去ocean floor开采变成有利可图的了？

1# SRYSprite 应该是yet，所以理解成还不能成为有利可图吧。

如果我没记错，题目你是不是看错了，我怎么记得后面是has not yet呢
你想，句子这个位置的yet应该是有否定修饰的，maybe啊，你再确定下~

on land 和on the ocean floor 是相对的。
因为矿藏on land 还有很多，而且on land的挖掘成本也比较便宜，所以 on the ocean floor还有待于成为一个赚钱的事业。

楼主解题思路的瓶颈在于对have yet to的错误理解。have yet to 的英文释义是：
Have yet to is defined as an activity, task, event or circumstance which has not occurred or which has not been done.也就是说have yet to在本句里可以理解为have not to，所以应该选E，第二空为profitable.
