2 PhD student positions are immediately available (2012 spring or fall) to study DNA repair mechanisms in yeast and cultured human cells.
Highly self-motivated individuals with experience in molecular biology techniques and/or human cell cultures are preferred.
Minimum criteria for admission include >3.0 GPA out of 4.0 (on the USA system scale) and a GRE score of >1100 (verbal plus quantitative). For international students, a TOEFL score of >92 is also required.
An admitted student will receive an annual stipend of $21,000 – 25,000, depending on GPA, GRE score and other qualifications.
