With the development of the television industry, our lives are filled with various kinds of TV programs and movies. They may help adults relax after a whole day of hardworking. However, what is the impact they have on the teenage students who cannot control the time and energy that are spent on them? As far as I am concerned, children who want to do well in school must pay enough time on it, as well as have a proper learning and think ability. Therefore their parents should help them limit the hours of watching TV and movies. And I will demonstrate my opinion in the following paragragh.
Firstly, children are easily to be addicted in watching TV programs or movies. Since those programs offer them an agreeable and comfortable atmosphere by providing an interesting topic or inviting some famous stars which are more attractive than their studies or homework, they may watch one after another even without noticing the time has gone, and it will absolutely decrease the time they focus on studying. When I was young in middle school, I used to be seated in front of the television for a whole day during the summer or winter holidays, and the homework had to be finished on the last three or four days. Undoubtedly, a golden holiday was wasted due to the TV programs once more.
Secondly, according to a recent survey, it can be learnt that watching TV has a detrimental effect on children’s learning, reading, especially thinking ability. The experts found that TV programs or movies appeared one scene after anothers compactly, which left the children no time to think about what would happen next. Finally, they will be accustomed to be told what will happen and lose critical thinking ability. Hence, the watching time ought to be limited.
What’s worse, so much time on watching TV programs or movies also hurts both eyes and health of the children. Without a healthy body, how could we expect them do well in their school?
However, just as I have said above, the TV programs and movies can help adults relax and recharge themselves, young children also need this kind of procedure. Nowadays, the pressure young children get in school may not be less than we have in society. While they don’t have any other better way to reduce except by watching some amusing programs, if the time they spend on TV can be will controlled，they still have the chance to enjoy some easily and happy hour in front of the TV set every day. What’s more, we shouldn’t ignore the fact that children can absorb a large amount of knowledge through it.
All in all, taking into account all those factors we discuss above, we could safely arrive at a conclusion that parents should help limit the watching time to an appropriate length due to the negative effects and the lack of children’ possessiveness.

When it comes to chose from ambitious dreams or goals which may be not realistic and the realistic goals, different people have very different opinions. As far as I am concerned, I believe that people should focus on the realistic goals for many reasons. And I will try to demonstrate my points in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, the majority of those people who only follow their ambitious dreams can finally gain nothing. Because they may not have those abilities which they must have if they want to make their unrealistic dream come true. Take the famous person——Sister Feng in china as a example, truly to say that, she is really ugly and left school only after graduating from middle school. However, she told the audience that the only person she wanted to be married with was Obama on a TV program. And she said that she was always trying to get to her destination. But what she really gets now? She wins nothing but the laughter from the whole society. Obviously, considering that you do not have those abilities$ Q% ?0 Z# N l1 @5 f- \ and opportunities to realize your ambitious dream, you will get nothing if you do not change your direction immediately.
Secondly, even though you may not really love your realistic goal, only if you try hard to achieve it, you can also get other people’s applaud, and may fall in love with it when you make it come true. When I was young, I always dreamt about being as a actress. But gradually, I found that I was not so beautiful and always nervous before the camera, so I changed my goal to become a lawyer since it might help me find a better job in the future. And for the past 4 years, I have tried my best to achieve that goal. And now, I have been a part-time lawyer in my hometown and already finished three cases. I think being a lawyer is a more realistic goal than being an actress for me, and I begin to love the feeling standing in the court. Just from my experience, you can know that you will love your realistic goal which may be easier to achieve if you put you whole heart to do it.
