The lecturer points out that the claim inthe reading passage fails to be convincing because it neglect some facts aboutthis topic.
First, the urban development, according tothe professor, does have some negative effect on the population of specific kindsof birds. But the population of some other kinds of birds keeps growing. In thesuburban area, residents even complain about the large number of birds that canbe disturbing. So human settlements and urban development do not result in thedecline of bird population, which contradicts the point in the reading passage.
Second, the lecturer also mentions somecurrent development in the agriculture area, which casts doubt on the claimthat the agriculture activities lead to the decline of bird population. Forinstance, there are less and less land in the United States used as agriculturefield, because people now are able to grow some new, more productive crops andthe demand for agriculture field declines significantly.
Third, the professor admits that the traditionalpesticides can do harm to birds, but she also point out that the use of newpesticide that is less toxic really weaken the statement in the passage.Moreover, the farmers today tend to grow some pest-resistant crops. So thesecrops do not need the pesticide for protection. 6#zoezjw1.第一句话就没有什么信息量，这种模板式的套话还不如不写，第一段直接对阅读内容做一个一句话的generalization，然后说教授认为阅读不对即可。还有类似于this point contradict....这类的，模板痕迹太重。
2.字数完全没有问题，我考试的时候写的200字，就是good，我周围的同学也是，一战300+400+都是fair，二战精炼语句后就是good。字数按OG给出的即可，综合写作本来考得就是概括能力，写300+有意义吗？
3.我看你这一篇的内容什么还不错，有可能是考试的时候听力没有听全导致扣分，写的时候主要要点在听到的部分。
