再看这个Thank you for your note.  I don't know yet, though, if I have funding for an additional graduate student, but should have a better idea at the beginning of the year.  You have had some good experience, and I would be interested to hear about your future research interests and professional goals.

第一个说明招人（招人总比不招好嘛），第二个感觉你可以继续学术套，表忠心，但是对于申请他所在的学校你就不能在他一棵树上吊死了。
