Thank you for your email to info me the Student Pass matters. I have applied the student pass online via ICA website, and waiting for the IPA letter. But I notice that the IPA is incorporated with a single journey visa which only allow me enter Singapore one time. I will arrive Singapore on 22 Jul, but I am plan to travel oversea during 28 Jul to 2 Aug (will register at NTU on 24 Jul). I am aware that Student Pass need time to process, so maybe I will not receive it before 28 Jul that day I leave. Could you advise shall I apply one more travel visa or any supporting document for my 2nd entry? Your early reply is appreciated. Thank you.
今天收到了ISC的回复,真是效率!
Yes, the IPA Letter only allow you to enter once. If you leave Singapore, you are required to apply your own entry visa again at the Singapore Embassy of the other country at your own cost and is subjected to embassy approval. It is unadvisable for students to leave Singapore until they receive their Student Pass in August. Please avoid arranging such trips if they are not extremely urgent.
