I: Good morning sir.
V: Good morning. How are you?
I: I’m fine. Thanks.
I: Do you want to see other materials?
V: Yes.
I: Please.
V: Do you want to study for a PhD degree?
I: Yes, I’m going to pursue PhD degree in University of Florida.
V: What is your major?
I: It is agricultural engineering.
V: Ok. What is your plan when you come back to China?
I: As shown on the passport, my hometown is in Gansu Province, northwest China
. The place is very arid and poor, especially lacks of water. So with my ackno
wledge in irrigation engineering, I can do some things to improve the working
and living conditions of people living there.
V: What job will do then?
I: I will join the study group of my current advisor. He can provide me with a
position. Then I can be a professor and carry out some national projects. If
there are opportunities, I will come to northwest China to design and establis
h some irrigation structures and facilities.
V: OK.
I: I’m sorry?
