上面这个网页中有很多资料，有些链接不能用了，我把一些能用的链接分类整理到这篇帖子以及一楼和二楼上来

首先是重头戏：如何申请经济的 phd 项目

上面这个网页是美国经济学联合会的网页上对于经济学的整体介绍，是为那些对经济学学术生涯感兴趣的学生们的一个提纲挈领的学科入门指导哦~~~个人感觉是最有用的一篇文章。里面还有米国各个稍微有名的经济学 phd 项目的网页链接

New York University (2004) "Applying to the PhD Program in Economics at NYU" - Although this is meant for those applicants interested in NYU, it provides quite a few useful pieces of information for all economics PhD applicants.

Athey (undated) "Advice for Applying to Graduate School in Economics" - as the author is a professor at Harvard (and previously at Stanford and MIT), this advice is useful at least for applying to the top 5 schools .

Blattman (2007) "How to get a PhD *and* save the world" - This piece of writing targets prospective PhD students interested in development economics (and perhaps in other policy-oriented fields of economics).

下面两篇文章是我们熟知的曼昆大神为phd申请者们领路的文章，其中第一篇讲述了如何选校和如何准备的基础知识。
Mankiw (2010) “Choosing a Graduate Program” - If you receive more than one admission offers.

第二篇对于该不该本科毕业后先工作一段时间再读 phd 的问题进行了讨论。曼昆大神说，如果你的志向是在经济学理论领域做出贡献，在 econometrica 杂志上尽可能灌水，然后发展自己的一套经济理论，志在诺奖的话。那么你最好毕业直接读研究生，然后拿到学位，然后疯狂搞paper。而你如果想做一个应用自己的知识处理实际的经济领域问题的经济专家，那么本科毕业后一两年的业界工作经历或许对你有比较大的帮助，它能提升你与经济学家圈子以外人士的交流能力，但是这样的工作经历是边际效用递减的，一般来说在第一年的末尾，再多工作对你的能力提升效果就会显著减小，以至于在第二年里，你就将没有什么实质收获了。所以，即使你的目标是后者，也建议你离开学校的时间控制在两年左右。。。

因为楼主本人目前还处于 phd 申请阶段，而且也才刚刚发现这些有用的资源，就只整理了以上的内容，具体的摘要我会在暑假整理出来。下面在一楼二楼的部分，我只是证实了每个链接的有效性，并未详细了解，现在先贴出，等将来拿到offer以后再继续更新本帖。

我还木有申请呢，因为数学双学位14年才能修完。。。所以是下学期申请 14年 fall 入学的。。。现在在积极的准备中。。。刷GPA，刷数学课，然后暑假刷论文（不知能发表不），同时再重刷一下GRE。。。自己对自己的期望挺高，但是能申请到啥学校自己心里也没底，关键现在这个学校是属于无人知晓的哪一档次

我觉得你的学习还不错，现在属于厚积薄发的时候，有时候会很难，很迷茫，试着坚持下来吧，慢慢都会好的
