Q: 持IPA可以出境吗？
A: 100% sure, Yes.
Q: What if Chinese custom/checkpoint officer asks you about the student visa when you pass the custom/checkpoint?
A: 1. Firstly tell the officer that you are a student and going to Singapore with IPA to study, not because any other unclear reasons.
2. Secondly, explain to the officer that this is the standard procedure of Singapore ICA, students with ICA can enter Singapore first and then ICA officers will go to school and students can apply student visa card at school.

版主莫怪……弱弱说我问新加坡大使馆的时候，对方说只拿IPA海关可能不让出境

怎么想都略坑的样子，但是她又没有说死，就说“可能不让”……让就让不让就不让，可能个【BI——】啊！！！！

IPA不知啥时候能寄到，能不能去哪下载个电子版打印出来用呢？

Just a piece of advice: print out all the documents, including admission letter, and present them to custom if required.

个别海关人员不懂（听说过这种事情发生），所以你要给他解释。大部分没问题。

For entry to Singapore, you will only be required to produce the IPA letter (print out the scanned copy of the letter) and your passport.

海关不管护照的，是边检在查。。。

The Student's Pass Approval Letter has been mailed to your mailing address on 07-JUN-2013. Please allow at least 2 weeks for the mail to reach you. If you still do not receive the In-Principle Approval (IPA) Letter one week prior to your departure, you may then contact us via e-mail at admission_research@ntu.edu.sg
