先介绍下自己情况吧！热能与动力工程专业。985的学校。大一。想本科出国去美国读个博士。我想问下各位有经验的学长，申请一个专排50到70的全奖难度大么？对于GPA GT 背景分别有怎样的要求呢？

请问百分制算法87靠谱么？可以是GPA大于3.7么？另外研究经历要多长时间才合适呢？

87 is a good one but you need take some advanced courses in your chosen area. you should start working with prof. at 大二， you will have enough time to generate publications by the end of 大三，papers take time to get accepted, that is why you want to get research started early. You should consider exchange in US for research, which will boost your background a lot.
