Research Fellow in Internal Combustion Engines/biofuels production
Applicants are invited for a research fellow position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Singapore, to work on a funded research project, involving numerical simulation on the flow, combustion and exhaust emission formation in small diesel engines fueled by jet fuel and experimental test.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline), preferably with a background experience/ knowledge in small engine for UAV application (either experimental or simulation). Ability to work independently, good team-working and communication skills are essential.
Alternatively, if the applicant has excellent experience in the production of second generation biofuel production from biomass, he is also encouraged to apply.
The appointment is available immediately for up to 2 years. The start salary will be more than S$4500 (i.e. more than 270000 RMB per year).
