The increasing importance of image is also evident in dating and interviews. When dating with someone, you will make the greatest effort to make him/her believe that you are loyal and reliable. As a result, you will present your best image. Analogously, everyone wants to leave the interviewer with the impression of being responsible, careful, innovative and capable of doing the job well. Consequently, during the interview, it is essential to display the most advantageous competence.
However, under some other circumstances, the reality or truth may outweigh the instant image. As has been mentioned above, presenting an attracting advertisement is a good way to gain attention. But when it comes to the final purchase of the customer, the authenticity of the advertisement, as well as the quality of the product will be a great concern. Likewise, whether you will live a happy life with your husband/wife, or whether you will be permanently appreciated by your manager, is ultimately determined by your true personality, quality and ability.
