原帖复制:是有关LR中causality的问题:Bible LR书中在causality reasoning一章的第203页第二段说,“when an LSAT speaker concludes that one occurrence caused another, that speaker also assums that the stated cause is the only possible cause of the effect and that consequently the stated cause will always produce that effect.” A often correlates with B; therefore A causes B. 这道题的一个选项若说the author fails to consider the fact that many people with A do not have B. 也该正确了?因为这就说明A不能alwayscauses B,即按照bible的逻辑A不能causes B。
我想问,是否BIBLE对LSAT speaker的assumption的说法是错误的,是否在LSAT里,作者说A cause B时,我们不能假设作者认为A 总是会cause B和只能A causes B?
