收到的offer letter中，有这么一段话：
You will matriculate and commence as a Research Student in the first instance. Subsequently, you will be required to pass the Confirmation exercise (CE) / Qualifying Examination (QE) in order to be confirmed as a Master’s candidate. After confirmation as a Master’s candidate, you will be expected to complete the requirements leading to a Master’s degree. However, if you fail to be confirmed as a Master’s candidate, you will be required to withdraw from the programme.

我不想：Research Student读一年后，通过CE/QE之后再读一年就可以拿到硕士文凭吗？这段相当不理解，我那些拿到offer的同学都没有出现过这种情况。

麻烦了解这些情况的前辈们悉心回复！谢谢。

你申请的是MENG还是MSC? MSC一年毕业啊。这应该是MENG啊。两年毕业。

申的是Meng，大多数都是可以通过CE/QE的吧，然后读两年毕业。。请问您是那的学生吗？

那没什么奇怪的啊，MENG是研究性硕士啊，当然有CE&QE，不知道你的疑惑在哪里？你申请的MENG就应该知道MENG两年毕业啊，一般都能过的。我是ntu 14fall的新生，还没入学的。
