Ushikawa rent an apartment across from where Tengo lived. There was some unpleasant odor in the corridor , but it was fine for him. He took only his necessity , starting his monitoring Tengo. With the tripod set facing the window toward the entrance of the opposite building , he put his SLR camera and installed the telelens for him to watch.But there seemed to be none of Tengo's trace.

Aomame dialed the phone number of the dowager's , telling her that the fake NHK person showed up again. True , it was an ominous sign.Plus there was an odd situation : a middle-aged man with a misshapen head wandered about the safe house for battered women.After all , that didn't matter to the safe house since it had always been tight in security.What was in Aomame's mind was always the flashing image of Tengo.But Tengo was apparently in the least possibility of finding her all of a sudden.

My TOEFL test is drawing near. Today I read a chapter of 1Q48 concerning the life of Tengo. He sensed that somewhat had kept him under surveillance : there might well be an installed camera operating.He found that Fuka-Eri disappeared and left a letter to him. As Tengo read through lines of that letter over and over , he learned that Fuka-Eri wen back to Professor Ebusino. Tengo called Komatsu afterward before they met up to have a long talk.Mr Komatsu told something to Tengo. What had concerned Professor was whether Tengo had the relationship with Fuka-Eri, a very urgent question.

I reviewed my viscous fluid mechanics in the evening for the final on Monday.For flow over a flat plate parallel to the one-dimensional flow , in the laminar flow situation , momentum loss is caused by shearing stress acting on the surface of the plate.The way to determine the shearing stress is by combining the integral mass conservation equation as well as integral momentum equation.Plus we need a concept of the momentum boundary thickness, i.e. the thickness representing the loss of momentum of a given viscous fluid.The integral equation is easy to solve , compared with those differential equations.

I read a chapter of 1Q48. Ushikawa spot Fuka-Eri while he put his camera to the gate of the opposite building Fuka-Eri had a unique way of walking : she seemed to have put all her concentration when she moved her steps.Later , a man claiming he was a NHK fee collector ,knocked the door of Ushikawa's apartment.Ushikawa didn't answer the door ,of course.However , when he was watching the gate through the camera , Fuka-Eri sensed his existence , looking directing into the hidden camera.

I read a chapter of 1Q48. Komatsu was kept in a captive state by the duo from Sakegaki. The duo was composed of a short , sturdy man with a buzz cut and a tall man who didn't speak a word and wearing a ponytail.It wasn't until ten days later that Komatsu was set free.

I read three chapters of 1Q48. Tengo went to the "cat town " after he was informed of his father's death. Ushikawa spotted Tengo who had been sitting on the slide in the playground.What's odd though, was that the father of Tengo had prepared everything for his death , so that when death eventyally came Tengo didn't have to do anything but attend the cremation.

I forgot to sign in last night when I got to my dorm. I have another three chapters before I finish the final volume of 1Q48. Ushikawa was strangled to death by Tamaru when Tamaru finished his interrogation on him.While Ushikawa was on his surveillance of Tengo , Tamaru suddenly appeared in where Ushikawa hid. He pounded in the left kidney of Ushikawa, inflicting great pain om him so as to subject him to fear.Then he put an airtight plasticc bag to suffocate Ushikawa to rip off all his guard.After the two rounds of affliction , Ushikawa finally gave in , telling all the truth to Tamaru.

I am ill, so is my computer. It just won't open any page swiftly including GTER. Gratefully I repaired it. I read about the Iliad yesterday and read about the war of Trojan. It is interesting to see lots of heroes and gods involved and they make judgement while appreciating the acknowledgement of the future and the denouement of the war. Here I specially need to underscore the hero Achilles, for his unintimidated characteristics to make the choice to be the hero and die in the battlefield rather than to live a long and unknown life with the protection of his mother. He's loyal to his friend and would return to the battle field fearless of dying to avenge for his friend.

I read one chapter of 1Q48. Tamaru dialed the number of Tengo , informing him that Aomame was waiting for him and that they would be seeing each other on the slide where they could watch the moon.

I finished reading 1Q48 today...In the last two chapters Aomame and Tengo finally found each other , after searching for each other for twenty years When the two were on the slide watching the moon together , Aomame kept clutching the hand of Tengo.Then she led him to the emergency exit where Aomame went to the world of 1Q48. By climbing up the stairway , they could be back to the world of 1948 instead.

I read something about the way of thinking. The book is called Thinking Fast and Slow written by Daniel Kahneman In the introduction the author noted that we have two ways working in our brain : we have a quick response to something like seeing a picture and a deliberate but slow mechanism in our brain while we think in deep.

I am polishing my paper these days. I became well 100 percent. Papers for relative issues should be taken into account and obviously such is a good chance to improve my writing skills.

I read three articles on the Economist.I learned that the cops in American are overpowered. There was a case in which a black young man who carried a toy gun pointing at the floor in the shopping mall was shot to death by a cop when hearing an emergency call.So to avoid such tragedies from taking place the second time , the US should reform its policy on gun control.

In fact I read three articles on the Economist.But I can't remember well the contents.Although I can't say that I did well in today's final exam, the test was ok since it wasn't as hard as I had thought.
