I just wanted to follow up with you. Have you had any further though as to your potential advisor here at ＊＊＊. We are beginning to generate our acceptance letters and I believe you will receive an offer. I wanted to make sure you would be matched with the advisor you are most interested in.

Normally when professor mentioned "an offer", he/she means admission with financial support. He is just asking who you want to do research with. If you wants to work with him, tell him straight. If you want to wait for another school, tell him straight but nicely and hope he understands this situation. Congrats btw.
