面试具体内容:
During the interview, two (in some cases three or four) members of the Admission Board, all senior staff members of the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, will be present.
Your interview will last approximately one hour, and consists of several parts:
1) You are requested to give a scientific presentation of at most ten (10) minutes, preferably on a research project that you contributed to (for example your own bachelor-project). Alternatively, your presentation can be on a topic of your choice within Nanoscience. Feel free to use Powerpoint or pdf slides for your presentation; a beamer and PC will be available. After the presentation the staff members will ask you a few questions about the presentation.
2) The Admission Board will assess your knowledge of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Please see www.rug.nl/zernike under Education --> Top Master Programme --> Outline of the curriculum --> Guided self-study, for the topics that you are supposed to have mastered at the end of the first fiveweeks of the Top Master Programme. Participating students must already have a strong basis (typically in either Chemistry or Physics) for this before the programme starts.
3) The Admissions Board will also assess your motivation and aptitude for the programme.
