标题: 政府机关工作可以申请MBA吗? [打印本页]

本人在国家部委的外事部门工作,已考过GRE和TOEFL, T已过期，有国内论文几篇。GPA 85/100，专业课平均88，国内排名前十的大学。
想再考GMAT，然后申请商学院出去，这样拿到奖学金的可能性大吗？
是否应该先申请非商学院的专业，然后再到美国转向商学院？如果不适合申请MBA，适合申请商学院其他专业吗？

考GMAT，然后申请商学院出去
you can always do this

but always hard to get money

maybe you can try MPA
the master of public administration
your background match it

谢谢Daj，但MPA的全奖似乎也少。
我现在还是想先考GMAT，然后通过申请非商学院专业申请到OFFER，然后去美国转到商学院。这样可行性大吗？

可是，去商学院读书是否适合你今后的工作计划呢？我倒觉得MPA更合适的。现在中国有这个文凭的还少，以后一定会有用武之地。而且两个的奖都少，差不多的

MBA is also very hard ya

even the Chinese MBA from U of Chicago

they are preparing the CPA test for the job

sigh.. an MBA for the accounting

如果是自掏腰包的话，还不如去读商学院，至少在美国不好就业的话，回来也好比较好混。但美国的MPA在中国不是那么受认可吧。

I donot think so 美国的MPA在中国受认可
in my school every year about 40 ppl from Zhejiang Province
come here to get the degree of MPA

also MPA is comparatively easier to find a job in US now
they usually goes to the non-profit orgnizations
such as the RED CROSS

non-profit means ..... just spends the money without caring where it from

很感谢"Daj"一直耐心地和我讨论这个问题。我感觉以我的背景申请社会学之类似乎更容易拿到全奖，毕竟社会学奖学金的机会较MPA稍多。

去公共机构的薪水比较底呀，商学院毕业的薪水更有竞争力，真是矛盾呀。不过先出去是第一步，谢谢各位。
