翻译是
我们的时代看起来特别容易接受一些糟糕的观点，很可能是因为在摒弃了传统的枷锁后，对未曾验证过的理论和未经尝试过的解决办法难于防范。

但是  我觉得不大能够理解

我问的时代比较接受糟糕的观点，，，，，原因：摈弃了传统枷锁（也就是解释为什么接受前一句的糟糕观点），然后我们对对未曾验证过的理论和未经尝试过的解决办法难于防范。。。

我觉得不应该是，
我们的时代 不容易接受 糟糕观点，因为抛弃了传统枷锁，人们会对别的未曾验证过的理论和未经尝试过的解决办法难于防范
所以
答案可以选

前半句里出现的bad ideas对应后半句里地untested theories and untried remedies, 从另一个角度而言就是第一空和第二空是“同向”关系，而非“对立”的关系。此外，because in throwing off the shackle of tradition，因为摒弃了传统枷锁，（先判断后句），所以我们对于那些untested theories and untried remedies就会是vulnerable to的。因为我们vulnerable to 这些 untested theories 和untried remedies的bad ideas，所以我们这个时代对于bad ideas只能选hospitable.

此外，because in throwing off the shackle of tradition，因为摒弃了传统枷锁，（先判断后句），所以我们对于那些untested theories and untried remedies就会是vulnerable to的。

不明白这之间的因果关系，也就是为什么摈弃了枷锁我们就会容易受到一些为验证的结论和方法的攻击/侵害。如果 because in throwing off the protect of tradition 也就是没有传统的保护的话，容易受到侵害还好理解一点，但是没有了枷锁和收到侵害我觉得因果关系难以理解。求指教

因为我们vulnerable to 这些 untested theories 和untried remedies的bad ideas，所以我们这个时代对于bad ideas只能选hospitable.

这一句的意思是，容易受到未验证的思想的侵害，所以我们易于接受一些坏的观点
这句可以理解，虽然有点勉强

综上，也就是我们容易接受坏的思想，因为摆脱了传统思想，我们容易被坏思想侵犯？
我觉得还是不大通顺
