Just have a look into the course structure, it looks fine.
stochastic calculus + derivatives + C++ in the 1st sem
and time series + interest rate + credit + computational finance in the 2nd sem.
the only point to worry is not the structure (which is good) but the depth.
given it is a business school, and given it is Manchester, I will worry if the depth of the course are enough given they are not likely to have enough well-qualified students, and thus the professor may have to adjust accordingly.
P.S. Man大无非就是同胞遍地 <---- 對technical master來說, 同胞遍地都不是太大問題 - 很多top MFE都是一大堆中國+印度人的. 關鍵是我不相信manchester能否招到足夠quantitativly-qualified的student, 從而能教到industry基本滿意的水平呢?
個人認為UCL, Warwick then Edinburgh已到下限, 加上Cass, KCL怎都夠有餘了, Manchester數不上來.
