李光耀公共政策学院（Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy）

「课程介绍」

公共政策硕士课程  Master in Public Policy

a.       入学要求：四年制大学本科毕业，成绩优良,  获得学士学位；对公共政策领域有兴趣；托福/雅思；2封推荐信

b.       课程特色：本课程为期两年；政策研究和技巧；经济学，政治学和管理学；有机会申请修读双学位课程

国际事务硕士课程  Master in International Affairs

a.       入学要求：四年制大学本科毕业，成绩优良,  获得学士学位；对国际事务领域有兴趣；GRE/GMAT/LSAT；个人陈述（字数不超过500字）；写作样本（字数不超于 2,000 字）；3封推荐信

b.       课程特色：本课程为期两年；为学生提供扎实的国际实践知识与理论框架；多学科授课课程，内容包括政治经济学，全球治理，外交政治分析，地缘政治等；提供亚州国家浸入式学习体验

Hi, we will still assess your application based on other criteria. However to make your application competitive, a good IELTS score is recommended. However if your bachelor degree is conducted fully in English, you will not be required to submit TOEFL/IELTS.

Please also note that if you are considering the Master in International Affairs programme, GRE/GMAT/LSAT is compulsory

Hi, fresh graduates are welcome to apply for our MPP and MIA programmes. Academic excellence and leadership qualities should be demonstrated in your application. If you have good internship/research/volunteering experiences, please add in your CV as well.

There are scholarships available but it is being awarded based on merits, also in competition with other shortlisted candidates.

Hi, MIA does not require TOEFL/IELTS but GRE/GMAT/LSAT is mandatory for submission.

就业前景因人而异，主要基于每个人自身的工作预期、激情和过往经验。总体来说，MPP主要着重训练学生在经济、政治学、政策分析领域的能力。一般而言，MPP学生毕业后从事咨询、分析和科研类工作。MIA毕业的学生一般可以做国际关系方面的咨询师、外事部门的服务人员等等。

LKY的学生深受许多行业和领域的欢迎，如政府部门、交叉性机构、组织、非政府部门组织。学院提供丰富的多领域教学服务和选择，例如经济发展、社会政策、财政金融、公共事务咨询、国际关系。这些都是用来实现LKY提升和转变人们生活的这一目标。

Hi, I may not be able to advise the accuracy of your chances securing employment in SG after graduation as it concerns the immigration and manpower regulations in SG. Generally, your overall background such as your total years of experience, qualification, nationality and the salary that your employer is paying you play an important factor in the SG government awarding the workpass. We do have Chinese alumni who are currently working in SG and other countries as well.

Hi, for MPP programme,we do have a good number of very outstanding fresh graduates with us. For example, this year out of the 8 MPP Chinese students we have, 6 of them are fresh graduates.

Hi, our International Student cohort makes up 80% of the student body. It is a very diverse student body that you can hardly find in any other schools. This diversity allows you to learn and exchange perspective from each other. :)

Thanks for reply. i still wondering that the differences between MIA &MPP,and the foreseeable future(such as working direction and any chances to work for the Singapore government) based on these majors. If permitting, would u plz tell me that the number of shortlisted candidates who can be enrolled in the academy ?Thx again.

It's decent score. I would advise you to spend time working on other application documents such as your CV and essays now. :)
If you have time to do another TOEFL/IELTS, you can try to get higher score.

Hi, double degree application is highly competitive. Yearly, on average, between 3- 6 students successfully enrolled for double degree. Your academic performance, class participation etc must be outstanding especially during your semester 1. You also have to pass the admissions of the corresponding partner university.

If you would like to apply for financial support from us, you need to indicate so in your online application form (there is a specific question for it). you will be notified admissions with or without scholarship once the results are released.

About 300 Chinese students made applications in 2015. We are now expecting more applicants this year because LKY School is offering the new MIA programme which will take 30 students from worldwide,thus no previous data of MIA admission rate is available.

Hi, our MPM programme is designed for high level professions. The typical profile of a MPM student is someone at the directorate level in their organization, has an average of 15-18 good years of work experience and high level of leadership experience. You may like to send me your CV (mia.lu@nus.edu.sg) for me to do a better assessment.

GRE/GMAt are mandatory for MIA application, which is the only document to prove your English capabilities.

the school offers identified students English and Economics preparatory classes. If you are being offered the programme, you should be good enough for the programme. :) It is good for you to do catch up on your own on the subjects you think you need more help in. We can't give a 100% commitment that you will secure your internship. We have a Career Services Dept who will help to facilitate your placement. The internship with your desired company (if any) will also be subjected to the company's vacancies as well as the school's contacts.

Hi, we do look at the overall 'package' considering your work experience, what your referees wrote for you etc. Since you can't enhance on your GPA score, I would recommend you to spend more time and efforts doing the other application documents well.

Yes. If you are being shortlisted, you will be notified to attend interview. Interview may be online or in-person if the professors are going to China. Interview will be held from Feb - April.

Yes, you can indicate in your online application form that you wish to apply for scholarship. Scholarship is being awarded based on merits.

平均每年有一半以上录取的同学能收到奖学金资助，所以这样看还是非常有竞争力的。奖学金资格没有国籍限制，但主要看你的综合实力。每年奖学金获得者的数量都不一样。有一半以上被录取的中国学生获得了奖学金，但这并不是固定的数据。
