Very few veteran critics tend to be ____________ the recent decade in cinema. Nonetheless, based on movie reviews many could easily come to the conclusion that the last ten years were indeed banner ones. Once the province of lettered intellectuals, a few even household names (Pauline Kael comes to mind), the role of the movie critic has been ____________ by those lacking any notable credentials. With this flood of veritable tyros opining from the rafters, a movie’s overall rating—as compiled and tabulated by popular Internet sites–often times confers a(n) ____________ on a film, an assessment that posterity will most likely deem specious.

一个一个找对应吧, 我的理解是
第一个空, 后面说banner one (口号上好的和specious一样讽刺性的反义词, )所以这里前面是positive的, 所以后说这个表面的好(banner one), 这里主要说太多的人来了, 那么老的人就很少了, few enamored of 很少有继续活跃的了, (这里有一个assumption就是少veteran 多tyro, 总的新人越来越多了, 说明行业越来越繁荣了)
第二个空因为后面有flood with 所以前面选amply filled
至于楼主说lettered intellectuals其实就是指代的之前的veteran(泛指高等教育的人, 写的影评很好), 但是后来阿猫阿狗都跑来评论了(amply filled)(good? actually banner one), 那么评论的质量就没有保证了,
随着粗制滥造的涌入, assessment that posterity will most likely deem specious(看似正确实际错误的, 那么前面必须是正面的) 所以看到specious就要取反, 前面必须是正的, 所以第三个空是patina of respectability其他两个选项 nostalgia ,inviolability 都不符合,

nonetheless后是movie prosperity。接着说专家缺失province？，filled by 没有专业知识的人，这样的评论是specious，不好的。整句的意思是没有人拥戴专家喽。我想选A E H 。拙见，不太懂

专家们对电影产业态度乐观，但是实际上过去十年的电影只是在口号上发展得好。曾今是一些博学智士的电影评论领域（其中不乏一些家喻户晓的人名如Pauline Kael ），评论家的角色却被一些缺乏专业名头的人所取代。随着这些新手们一拥而上对电影评头论足，整个电影的评分使得电影们看起来似乎有了一个光鲜亮丽的外表，而这些看似客观的好评将被子孙后代们发现是似是而非的。

第一个空应该填一个负面词，因为前面有个very few我的答案有误，更正一下：

虽然能明白选什么了，但是还是看不懂后面的句子。lettered intellectuals要怎么理解呢？
veritable tyros opining from the rafters, 这个又是什么鬼
最后一个空理解不了。deem specious应该是负面的评价吧，可是三个选项都是正向的啊

第二个空好像明白了！！感谢！！
但是第三个空的取反，看不出来呀，插入语不就是直接形容前面的空的么~

Interpretation:

Critics were once the stage for only educated smart people, some of them are even well-known among everyone. Now it has been ____(2)___ by those people with little credentials. When a large number of true amateurs who gives opinions from the common public, a movie's overall rating, which is compiled and organized by popular internet sites often gives a(n) ____(3)___on a film. This ____(3)____ represents an assessment that our children will most likely believe to be superficial and misleading.
