我也是10年到纽约留学然后留在美国工作。最开始住elmhurst上学那两年坐慢车地铁M和R线特别辛苦，因为工作搬到brooklyn生活了四年才发现brooklyn是非常值得挖掘的地方，brooklyn是曼哈顿之后纽约最有文化底蕴的地方，而且地铁方便. more and more international students and people who work in wall street are living in brooklyn in recent years. it's as safe as queens. brooklyn的dyker heights富人区每年感恩圣诞的house decoration是纽约胜景之一。This area is also close to brooklyn downtown where you can find a bunch of fancy restaurants which provide foods from different countries. and also close to bay ridge area where is replete of fancy and expense house and is a good place to walk along atlantic.
