George Mason University的计算机系统与软件安全实验室(Systems and Software Security Lab)招收博士、硕士学生.

该实验室由Dr. Qiang Zeng (https://cse.sc.edu/~zeng1/) 指导. 他将作为副教授(Associate Professor)于2022秋加入GMU的计算机系. GMU的计算机科研享有盛誉, 在全美排名45 (https://csrankings.org/), 计算机安全排名35. 更重要的是GMU的计算机系近年发展迅速, 排名持续上升. GMU在弗吉利亚北部 (昵称NOVA), 治安、气候、人居环境都非常好, 靠近DC, 有地铁直达. 这里亚裔比例高, 各族裔和谐相处.

该实验室当前重点研究方向是2个:

1. IoT Security (including mobile robots, drones, and smart home/office devices)
2. Deep Learning vs. Security (such as applying DL to security and adversarial ML)

Dr. Zeng获得NSF CAREER Award, 指导学生成果颇丰. 我们的研究成果发表在各大顶会, 包括Oakland, CCS, USENIX Security, NDSS, MobiCom, MobiSys. 所有博士生都将获得RA或TA全额资助, 每月工资$2700以上

招生条件:

2. Passion for research; self-motivated (this is very important; I hope you really love and enjoy research)
3. Very good coding skills
4. Bachelor's degree from 985 or top 211 schools; or first-author papers published at CCF-C conferences or better
