Location: Shanghai

Department: Finance/Accounting, China Europe International Business School

Work Type: Part-time

Job Responsibilities

1. Support research project at intersection of finance, artificial intelligence, and development.

2. Gather and summarize academic literature.

3. Collect financial and economic data from subscription databases and other sources.

4. Clean raw data (numerical and textual data).

5. Build variables using NLP and LLMs.

6. Interact with LLMs via API.

7. Generate descriptive statistics and conduct preliminary analysis.

Job Requirement

1. Experience conducting or supporting academic research.

2. Programming in STATA and/or Python.

3. Familiarity with finance, economics, and AI.

4. Proficient in English, self-motivated, attention to detail, punctuality, honesty.

Working Hours

50—90 hours per month (flexible)
