VO: (跟我同时greeting，不知道说了什么，呵呵。紧接着就提问)What degree do you
have? BS or MS.
ME: I just got my MS this march.
VO: Why do you choose Gatech?
ME: The first and most important reason is that their PhD program fits well
with my research interest.(还准备了一个原因，但是在我换气的时候，他问了下一
个问题)
VO: What is your research interest.(意料之中他会接着上面这样问)
ME: Biocatalysis and Biotransformation. Whould you like to know sth more
about it?
VO: No.And what is your major? What do you do for your MS research?(好像这样，
记不清了)
ME: My major is Biochemical Engineering. And I focus my research work on
Biocatalysis and Biotransformation.
VO: What is Bio******
ME: (疑惑的表情，不知道他说了个什么词)bio???
VO: Sorry, the word you just said.(显然他想重复biocatalysis，说错了)
ME: Biocatalysis and biotransformation?
VO: Yes.
ME: (ft刚才想主动跟你讲，你不让说，现在又问)In this research area, we
study.............For example, petroleum,(停了一下，注意他脸色)
VO: yes.(看来不错，这个dd他总还是知道的，呵呵。庆幸自己找了个大家都懂的例子，
虽然未必恰当)
ME: Petroleum is a kind of product from biotransformation under the matural
conditions. (想再说一个药物生产的例子，喘气的功夫，他又问下一个问题。)
VO: How long will you study in US?
ME: 5 years.
(接下来是让我最ft的一段，到现在我都不知道怎么回事，请达人指教)
VO：You are given Graduate Assistantship. So how many hours will you work
in
one week?
ME: (这个问题真的没想到，可能还是准备不足吧，没看到过这样的问题，当时有点蒙，
大概表情也很诡异)Yes, I have got the Graduate Assistantship. But how many
hours I have to work???(不知道该说什么了)
VO: (ms要解释给我听)You have got Graduate Assistantship. You have to work to
get it, and pay your fees by it.So how many hours will you work?
ME: (依然困惑)Yes I will work in the lab. But I am not sure how many hours I
will work?
VO: (又说了一堆话，跟上一句差不多。然后又问我)
ME: When I am assigned to a supervisor, I will work with him. And I will talk
with the professor about the work.(实在不知道怎么办，只好这样说了。还是不明
白，这个问题到底要干什么？是觉
得资金问题？好像不象。是想考查我对将来的学习和生活有没有一定规划？可是这个问
题我确实不知道。还望达人指教。)
VO: (不知道怎么想的，总算不纠缠这个了)Do you have a resume?
ME: Yes, here you are.(有了刚才那一段别扭的对话，一瞬间担心自己过不了，给他简
历也无所谓check了)
VO: (只用1秒钟扫了一眼，那些敏感词汇也不知道有没有看进去)OK.What will you do
with your PhD?
ME: I will come back to China and be a researcher in a university or
institution.
VO: Why do you come to China?
ME: First of all, Biocatalysis and Biotransformation has wide application in
drug industry and environment protection. Mowdays in China, there are many
problems in new drug development and environment protection, such as
pesticide residues and warter
pollutants. So there are a lot of research projects I can choose and a lot
of work I can do. (这话现在看起来真好笑，这也是英语表达？！不过当时就乱讲了)
Besides, I wished to be a professor when I was very young, mainly because of
the influence from my
mother. She is an excellent teacher.(现在看来，这个话跟本没联系到回国，也不
知道当时怎么就说了。不过VO的表情似乎挺认同的。奇怪他居然听我讲这么久！)
VO: OK.You can get your visa at window 12.(把简历和I20等等给我。我当时一点都
不兴奋，只觉得好累好累，总算不再问了)
ME：Thank you and have a nice day.
