It is true that when we seek the answer to one question sometimes we may meet an useful answer to anther fortunately, however these lucky answers take up a small section of the total amount.
Admittedly, many important discoveries come up when people were in quest for a irrelevance solution to the problem. In fact, when people seek an answer, it may take them a long way to go and on the way it may happen many things which can lead to an unexpected result very useful. For example, on the searching for India, Clumber discovered America which he thought was West India until his death; in a commonplace experiment, Faraday discovered the law of electromagnetic induction which is the main method of generating electricity today. Thus, it is possible that people may have additional harvest when they are searching for another answer.
However, the creations accidental are a small part of the total discoveries people have. There are two reasons: First, the chance of the appearance of the unexpected answer is small. If one does an important research, the plans which should result in the expected consequence are carefully designed and have little chance to lead to anything irrelevance to the research. Second, the researchers may be so involved in their work that the small evidence of the unexpected discoveries may be neglected. Sometimes, when an important discovery in science is published, there may come a scientist claiming that the result has come up by accident when he did some irrelevant research before then.
Furthermore, the large quantities of the discoveries are purposely which largely push the society forward. For centuries, human beings were seeking answers to their questions to go after their dreams, and as the important anticipated resulted were received, the society improved. It is not advisable to relay on the creations occurred by chance. People can not expect the doctor to invent a treatment by concerning something else but not the disease; people can not expect the designer to design a new type of a car by concerning something else but not cars; people also can not expect a scientist to institute a physics theory by concerning chemistry. Thus, although people gain a lot through accidental discoveries, they should put their heart in the seeking for the anticipated results.
To sum up, important creations may come up accidental but if people depend on these discoveries to improve their civilization which are largely developed by expected results of the researches, hardly any more progress would be made.作者: mreal 时间: 2005-7-31 22:27:12

It is true that when we seek the answer to one question sometimes we may meet an useful answer to anther fortunately, however these lucky answers take up a small section of the total amount什么的总数?虽然可以理解,但是还是在具体说明一下吧~.
Admittedly, many important discoveries come up when people were in quest for an irrelevance solution to the problem. In fact, when people seek an answer, it may take them a long way to go and on the way it may happen many things which can lead to an unexpected result very useful这样表述不太明确吧. For example, on the searching for India, Clumber discovered America which he thought was West India until his death;我觉得这个例子不好,和要说的理不太搭,C并不是在发现印度的同时意外发现了美洲啊, in a commonplace experiment, Faraday discovered the law of electromagnetic induction which is the main method of generating electricity today.这个例子我觉得用在这里也值得商榷~~至少应该把与道理的关系说的再明确一些 Thus, it is possible that people may have additional harvest when they are searching for another前面已经用了additional这里再用another就不太好了吧 answer.
However, the accidental creations are a small part of the total discoveries people have. Sometimes, when an important discovery in science is published, there may come a scientist claiming that the result has come up by accident when he did some irrelevant research before then.最后这句如果作为例子听起来好像没有说完的感觉,应该再说清楚一些吧
Furthermore, the large quantities of the discoveries are purposely which largely push the society forward.这句话语病还是挺严重的,不如改成it is discoveries coming from scientists' specific research towards a chosen subject that push the society forward. For centuries, human beings were seeking answers to their questions to go after their dreams, and as the important anticipated resulted were received, the society improved. It is not advisable to relay on the creations occurred by chance. People can not expect the doctor to invent a treatment by删 concerning something else but not the disease; people can not expect the designer to design a new type of a car by concerning something else but not cars; people also can not expect a scientist to institute a physics theory by concerning chemistry. 再说例子~我还是觉得用在这里不太合适,没有直接说明道理Thus, although people gain a lot through accidental discoveries, they should put their heart in似乎不这么说吧,用concentrate on the seeking for the anticipated results.
