All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems.

The arguer claims every nation should support the development of a global university in order to provide the special students to solve the world's most persistent social problems. In my point of view, I tend to believe that global collaborations is necessary to solve these problems, but the most developed big countries can and should dominate in solving them.

Usually, it is necessary to invest the most developed technologies, the most brilliant people, and lots of money in order to solve the world's most persistent social problems. The effect of Green Room is a case in point. It is well known that the effect of Green Room mainly result from CO2 that is produced by industry and automobiles, etc.. So a simple and effective way is to cut down the amount of the production of CO2. Indeed it is a good idea. However, how can we realize it? Can we ban all industries that produce CO2? Can we abandon automobiles? Obviously, the answer is "No". We have to find the substitutes to energies being used in the industries and automobiles and the alternative technologies to reduce the amount of CO2 produced. Unarguablely, we can get the anticipated result unless we invest the most developed technologies, the most brilliant people, and lot of money in solving the problem. Other similar problems need the similar efforts.  

Then, who provide the sources? The most developed big countries perhaps provide the sources to solve the world's problems above. Generally speaking, the most developed big countries have the ability and motivation to solve these problems. On the one hand, most of the sources including the well educated people and fortune etc. in the world are under the control of them. So they have the ability. On the other hand, they can benefit more from the successes in solving the problems than other nations for they benefit more from the global activities than others.

However, there is no denying that every country can and should play its own role in resolving the world's most persistent social problems. For example, if there are no the helps from African countries, it is impossible that we want to erase the poverty of the whole human being.

Taking into account the factors above, I conclude that every nation should devote to the global problems and the most developed big nations can play a more important role in solving them. So all nations should support the development of a global university but the big nation above can do more than others.
