For it is very easy to get. I only applied online, and I received my package no later than a week from toronto. I also tried CIBC and BMO, which are difficult to pass and often request a deposit of 250CDN.
Generally, it is very important to build up your credit record in Canada asap, in that you will need it to prove you are a 'honest' person who has 'credit' to pay the bills. For example, when you purchase a cell plan, the retailer will ask you to show your credit card and inspect your record; in case that you don't have one, he/she will ask you to deposit some amount of money, otherwise, he/she won't even try to sell you anything in order to avoid loss risk.
I went to TD today and probably will be getting a this card later.
It's been 2 days and I did lots of stuff and I can't help wonder why the embassy in BJ are in the contrary that f**king slow. Anyway, I'm just talking.
