1. voting: roll call=termination:cloture
怎么理解？书上说是同义关系，我怎么看也看不出。

2.grazing:foragers::
a)weeding: gardeners
b) stalking: hunters
key:b
forager是指为动物找食物的人，和放牧有什么关系呢？
宋昊的书上的解释是“放牧者”，实在不解。

3. zealous: enthusiastic::
a)pedantic:educated
b) idolatrous: devoted
key: b
书上说是褒贬关系,但 a为什么不对呢

4.abraded: friction::
a)refined:distillate
b)vaporized: heat
key:b

1. Roll call is a specific kind of voting just as cloture is a kind of termination, its general vs specific

2.forager has 2 definitions, one refers to a person or an animal searching for food,the other refers to sb who feed animals just as graze is to feed animals

3.zealous is overly and highly enthusiastic and idolatrous is overly devoted, however pedantic is not highly educated

4.distillate is the outcome of refinement ,while both friction and heat indicate an catalyst for the concerning process.

1.Roll call 为什么是一种specific的voting呢? 不是点名的意思么?
4.heat和friction为什么要catalyst啊?

A roll call vote is a vote on the record, noting the name of each Senator and his/her voting position.
