1)yes, it is too late now, but better late than never
2)you stand extremely small chance getting into good FE programs given your math background. Even if you get in, i doubt if you can survive.
3)try some master programs in applied economics that have late deadlines. never mind the ranking of the school at this point, just got in (hopefully with some aid) and take as many quatitative courses as you can, but only if you want to do a phd later. there are lots of low ranked schools that offer MAE/MA/MS program in economics. for details, you have to live on your own. (such as western michigan university, i personally dun know where it is)

我建议你报一个好学校的nondegree economics or finance undergraduate,进去后选一些难的数学,real analysis, topology or PDE等,再选一些基础经济,金融,或精算的课(这是三个不同的方向,选一种自己喜欢的)。 你要读的financial engineering说白了是数学的功底,打一年基础,暑假再把gre考一遍,凭你的物理背景,明年应该能进top20的学校。作者: magileilei 时间: 2007-3-2 09:17:31
