   2、电视和网络确实可以让人们了解很多没办法去的地方。

   5、总结：电视和网络不会使旅游过时，反而会促进。

In the era of rapid social and technological change, television and worldwide computer connections make people become familiar with a great many places that they have never visited, whereas tourism does not become obsolete as a result, in stead, it may stimulated the development of tourism.

Admittedly, television and worldwide computer connections make people realize places that they have never been to. Most people cannot go to every place that they want to, because of limiting of money and time. However, television and Internet will give them a vivid impression of these places through pictures and videos. People can view pyramid in Egypt, see Australian sloth, or enjoy beauty of Hawaii without leaving home. I concede that television and worldwide computer connection is convenient for people to realize places they may have no chance to go to, and for people cannot go travel because of money or time, it is also a good choice to know the world.

Notwithstanding television and worldwide computer connection can make our view more wide, and travel for purpose of business or communication may decline, tourism will not be obsolete as speaker claim. Tourism has its own superiorities which cannot be instead of by television and Internet for people.

First of all, tourism is a process to experience different custom and beauty. People may know what majesty is by traveling the Great Wall in China and what is miracle by viewing Yosemite of America, and beside the scenery, people can taste the special local food, communicate with local people, even the language of each other is different. It is about sensory experience---seeing and hearing firsthand, even touching and smelling. All these cannot be instead by television and worldwide computer connections at home.

Second, tourism is a mode of exercise, and moreover, tourism is a kind of relax for people, which detangles people from pressure of working or studying. People can put all of the affairs aside and enjoy the sunshine of the beach by swimming or the fresh air in the mountain while climbing which also cannot be accomplished by television and Internet.

Furthermore, television and worldwide computer connections not only cannot instead of tourism, on the contrary, they may stimulate it. Television and Internet may actually serve to spark people’s interests in visiting other places by introducing with its lively pictures. And it is more convenience that to book tickets and prearranges the hotel by Internet. So tourism may be more flourishing but not obsolete.

To sum up, although television and worldwide computer connections are convenient for people to know the world today, they will not make tourism become obsolete but, in fact, they may stimulate tourism thrive better.
