Topic: If you were anemployer, which kind of worker would you prefer to hire: aninexperienced worker at a lower salary, or an experienced worker at ahigher salary? Use specific reason and details to support your answer
If I were an employer of a company, I prefer an inexperienced worker requiring lower salary to an experienced requiring higher salary. No one is born to have experience. Everybody needs a chance to show their ability. Experience may improve a worker's ability but not the prerequisite. If we just focus on the experienced, we miss many talent people.
Nowadays, many employers hire workers who have related experience.Considering inexperienced workers maybe spend more time to get familiar with their works, for the sake of the benifit of a company, employers are glad to choose emperienced workers. However, a experienced worker can not simply equal to a good worker who has both skill and efficiency. Experience always may be surface experience. After a short training program, it is possible that a green hand shows as competence as so-called experienced one who has a or two years experience.
Obviously, to recruit a rookie is easier than to recruit an expert, also cost less. It is nearsighted to consider extra cost on an inexperienced worker is not worthy. Since we pay unexperienced workers lower, we may pay more for a proficient to train our employees. One year or two, including experience, these workers have both quality and skill we need. During the training, we also have thorough view to our employees, then we may put them in more proper positions according the difference among their characters and potential. Certainly, they can create effiency and profit, and development of our company as well.
Moreover, because of lacking experience, they have less stationary thoughts which constraint them to accept new things and methods. Many workers who have some experience get used to do their works in an unchangable way. They may ignore some details because they follow their experience spontaneously.
Above all, since inexperience workers requiring lower salary have their advantages and their disadvantages can be reformed after some measures. I would like to hire inexperience workers.
As a manager, when facing the problem choosing an inexperienced worker with lower salary or an experienced worker with higher salary, I would definitely choose the latter. I make this choice out of cost consideration, which is the basic responsibility a HR manager takes for his company and employees. I would like to analyze the cost involved in the following respects.
A training program is quiet necessary for any newly recruited inexperienced workers. As known to everyone, a university diploma can not necessarily guarantee the according working skills. For example, an aviation company has newly recruited an inexperienced pilot who has to be trained to get familiar with the actual operation of the plane and the airlines both in home and aboard. This train would probably lasts for several months or even years. During this period of time, the employee can not make any actual contribution to the company, and moreover, company has to shoulder the expenses caused by the train: accommodation expenses, training space and equipments etc. What is mentioned above include two costs: time cost and financial cost.
Even after the training, one situation all the employers are not willing to see is the newly trained employee betrays the company. Of course, a contract must be signed before the train, but money just can not compensate the loss the company suffers. So, in this situation, turnover cost occurs.
While, if the one hired is an experienced pilot, the situation would probably be totally different. Instead of being trained, an experienced pilot can take charge of the training program for the company. Besides, he can immediately on board because of he knows everything quiet well by being a pilot for several years or even decades. Accordingly, contributions can be made immediately to the company by an experienced employee.
In conclusion, hiring an experienced employee enjoys more advantages than hiring an inexperienced one, although with higher salary, the contribution he makes and the other costs he saves can make it worth.

赞一下,写的很好,连接词用的很恰到;结尾略显单薄,在润色一下是不是更好:)
